help! side lights are stuck on!

Anyone got any advice. My side lights suddenly came on after I had just finished washing my scooby and I can't turn them off. The engine wasn't even running at the time.
Any suggestions ??

Yes, press the button on top of the steering column and turn the parking lights off

Whoops !!!! Been wondering for the past 18 months what that switch was for.
No need to call the AA then ?

Lol. Shouldn't laugh really I spose.

When I bought mine it that switch was one of the first things I investigated, as I couldn't understand what the point of 2 hazard light switches was...
