Chipped headlamp - help!

The n/s headlamp (clear type) of my MY99 UK impreza has got a stone chip on the front lens. (It doesn't go all the way through)
Will this fail the MOT?
Is it possible to repair it (Araldite? superglue?), or get it repaired by windscreen repairers?
Or is the lens available seperately?
Failing that,can anyone help with a source for a "pattern part" type light rather than Subaru - prices I've seen on other posts look horrendous
