Question

Hey everybody,
The other day my speedo broke. just going along and i noticed it was sitting the otherside of the little stop on the 0MPH indication!. i thought WTF. but then today i did 120 MPHish!! on a private road and it kicked itself back to life!!
Has anybody had a similar experience and can anybody explain why this has happened?!

Wink

You say it broke, was that the cable from gearbox, ctr cable, or speedo cable, or was it the speedo.

Either "three" ways, just check the connections for all, as sometimes they can work loose, especially if some DIY cable tidying has happened or replacing bulbs etc

It was the speedo counter itself and i havent touched anything to do with the dash or cables. and its better now, so ill assume a spurious electrical fault. I'll have to check all connections
Cheers
