Unhappy

Last year i lost some of the use of my windscreen wipers, no wash and park, intermediate or medium speed. all i was left with was fast mode, and if i pulled the lever towards me, movement untill i let go! or it will stop dead where ever it's at.

Anyway i got a new motor witch made no difference, £75 worth of investigation at TSL revealed little, "try a new wipper arm/stalk assembly" they said, as the electrics are built in. anyway i've been a little busy lately and not got round to fitting the new wipper arm.

This morning just to wind me up further it starts working! but i also noticed what possibaly was a shorting noise coming from around the fuse box/driver footwell area when driving home at around 3500rpm?? anyway i got home (5 miles) and the blummin thing had stopped again!!

Help, sugestions, advice, anything.
i'm in Cambridgeshire if you know any good auto electicians.

Thanks in advance, Roy

Sounds like a small split in the dry solder joints in the fuse board. Usually a fuse board out jod for inspection and repair or replacement.

Just my thoughts, don't quote me
