Probably a bit of a lame question, but I've had a few scoobys flash and wave to me and their fog lights light up with there full beam.

I thought this looks good and wondered what I need to do, to get my MY99 to do this??

Simple relay with separate fused power supply and activation from main beam.

The ones flashing you are probably using driving lights instead of the fogs fitted as standard.
These are wired so that they come on with the main beams, as the law requires them to dip using the same control as the main beam dipswitch.
IMHO, it's a waste of time doing it with fogs, apart from looking cool, if you like that sort of thing. I'm not getting at you here, I just think it's a waste of time, but each to his own!
Strictly speaking, what you propose is illegal, as the law doesn't allow you to use foglights other than when it's foggy, and if PC Traffic wants to get arsy, you can get a fine for it.
It is easy though, it needs the fogs taking off, a relay fitted, and the fogs refitted, but you'll lose their use in fog.
If you still want to do it, post again, or mail me and I can do you a set of instructions: Takes about half an hour and costs under a tenner.

Sorry i've not replied till now, I didn't have access to a computer all weekend.

I thought they were probably doing it with driving lights.

But if its illegal and i'll loose the use of the fogs when there needed (foggy whether)I'll leave it as is.
