My Left side (passenger side) dipped headlight had stopped working on my P1. Found that the bulb filament had gone so replaced bulb
and still nothing. Have checked the fuse in the main fuse box and it seems to be intact. Anyone got any suggestions on this one, is
there another fuse somewhere???
Cheers

Sounds more like the connector on the back of the bulb to me. Excuse my limited knowledge but IIRC on H4 bulbs there are three wires going into the back of the bulb. I would assume that one is earth, one is dipped and one is main beam. I would start here myself.

Me too. I'd buy a cheap circuit tester, one of the ones with a "screwdriver" with a lamp in it, and a wire with a crocodile clip coming out of it. Check that you have power to at least two of the leads at the back of the bulb.
If so, now check your connector. Any signs of looseness? Burning? It can cause arcing, and immediate failure of new bulb, which may not be obvious.

Thanks for the advice lads.
Went out and checked the connector and although couldnt see
anything wrong I gave the terminals a clean with a bit of
fine emery and a bit of contact cleaner and everything is
now fine.
cheers
