There seems to be different opinions on upgrading the output of the standard bulbs. Some say the connectors seemm to fuse to the bulb connection blade, others say they have had no problems.
I tried some phillips super vison bulbs (55w) on my 96 UK turbo. They do make a bit of a difference, but nothing to write home about.
I also put some 100W lamps in my fog lights hoping to get more light out of them but they have stopped working after about a two weeks i just posted another thread in this forum to see if anyone can give me any pointers as to the cause of the problem.
My advise is stick with the correct wattage bulbs, unless you know enough about electronics to put the correct fuses/relays in etc.
Cheers

Are you on about upgrading the bulbs on the standard fog lamps? will be quite useless because the reflectors are designed to scatter light about 2m in front of the car. You're better off getting a set of driving lamps.
