Broken Fog Lamp Bracket.
#1
Hi, after having my Scoob for nearly 2 weeks I've had an altercation with a motorway mileage marker (wooden post type thing), resulting in a scratched and paint chipped bumper and also leaving the fog lamp hanging on by its lower mounting bracket, although the lamp is ok.
Does anyone know if the lamp can be got at without taking the bumper off and also if the lamps backing plate is part of the lamp itself as one piece or whether or not I can replace the mounting plate?
Thanks,
Icy.

Scooby Regular
Sorry to read of you mishap
Yes you can get to the bolts holding the lamp in from the front.
There should be 3 bolts holding the lamp in place.
You don't say what MY (Model Year) the car is!
If it is a MY93-98 one the of the bolts will also hold the indicator on.
It's quite simple to remove the lamp
Iain.

Cheers mate, its a MY97. Taken it out now till I get another bracket for it. It was only held in with the one bolt so I thought I'd better do it before it fell out.
