Problems with stereo power .......

Hi,
I've just removed my Sony Head Unit CDX-CA850 (or something like that!!!)
Problem being that when I plugged it back in and pushed it back into the cage, the power wouldn't come on!! I've got power to eject the CD, but it looks like I've lost the 12V feed.
Have checked the stereo in a different car - works fine.
This leads me to assume the following. Either :-
(1) The ISO adapter is fugged (there are 2 looms - 1 from Sony. 1 from Sony connector to Subaru)
(2) A fuse has blown - BUT does the stereo 12V feed anything else (coz everything is fine....)
The car is an MY99 4dr.
ANY ideas?
Dan

Willing to bet the loom has some little bullet connectors in it behind the stereo. If you can still eject, but can't power the stereo on, it is probable that the yellow or red wire on the sony loom has had one of these lil connectors come loose.
Please also check your speaker connections carefully: if any of these are shorting / earthing the headunit will not power up to protect itself (on some stereos....dunno about Sony's).

Thanks, but I've just sorted it
Turns out it was the clock/radio fuse
I assumed that as the clock was working, the fuse would be OK!!!
How wrong could I be!!!
Anyway, all working now.....
CHeers,
Dan
PS the reason why it blew in the first place = looks like a stray wire from the remote lead must have shorted thought I'd crimped them up pretty neatly
Lesson learnt - do NOT install your ICE in the dark
