The "door open" light keeps flashing on my MY97 when being driven, as does the interior light.I've checked all the door switches and they seem ok.
Anyone come across this before ??

As far as I know, the switches work with ann earth, sounds like on one of the doors, thers a fault with the switch, the light comes 'on' when the earth cable touches the body, so it looks as if thats what happening, just at the wrong times!

 

had this on a car a few backs when turning hard right it flashed the interior light and the door open light on the dash. to find it take them out one at a time and go for a drive when it stops thats the one thats faulty. you could also look along the line of the door to see if it protrudes from the body work slightly if so just adjust the latch to bring it back in line which could also be the problem. this is what i did to stop the light flashing whilst the pins were on order.
