I was hoping someone might have an idea where the wire go for the lambda and knock links as i have these but no wiring diagrams

Mate, the Knock link is a stand alone sensor!

For the lambda link you need the (MY97/98) thick white wire on the bottom plug. I'll look out the exact pin (I think it's 17??) then You need an engine earth (I ran my own to the block to make sure)

Question

can someone tell me which wire from each loom does what.

on one wireing loom i have red and black wires (pos and neg?) that seperate at the top, and at the bottom i have brown and black wires.

on the second loom i have red and black wires (pos and neg?) at the top, and at the bottom i have green and white wires.

Knock Link,
This has black and brown wires, these go directly to the KL sensor.

Lambda Link,
This has green and white wires.
-Green is the engine earth. (If you can find an ECU engine earth!!! I took mine directly to the Block)
-White is the signal wire (goes to the ECU Lambda signal wire)

i thought black get's earthed? now i know something went wrong with the wiring, the knock sensor has only one wire?

Can you get a pretty version of these sensors as the one's I've seen look naff, something that was homemade out of a Tandy's store.
