Nope don't draw 5w draws about 5ma not quite W5W but good enough for the front sidelights or a dash conversion
We have the whites in our scoob the output from them is white, not the normal dull sidelights.

Hmmmm. I wonder if they're road legal?
When I rode a bike to work and back, some 3 years ago, I got a pull one night from the dibble, and they told me my LED rear light was not legal, as the law refers to an "incandescent lamp" which an LED is not.:
This was despite the fact that my light had 5 red LED's on it, which made it at least 3 times as bright as a bulb. And that was THEN.
I had to go out and buy a bulb light to use as well.:
BTW also got a pull 'cos my LED light could be made to flash a pattern to attract the driver's attention even more, and apparently, that's not allowed either!:

Ah but don’t the new TVR's Have rear Led back lights and if Led's are not road legal what about the rear lights used on new buses and coaches they are LED and the brake lights on the scoob!
If the Led lights for bike were not legal they would not get CE approval and they are only to be used in non flashing mode, any light that flashes that is not a "direction lamp" or "special warning lamp" is an offence under the vehicle lighting regulations 19?? what ever year it was because i cant find the last draft of the V L R that i had.
Any way we all do things that are not quite legal like some people fit PIAA lamps or higher wattage bulbs which some do not have CE approval or are not E4 marked.
