As the title says really. Anyone know of a decent electrician in the South (preferably Southampton - Portsmouth area). Don't really want to take it to Sparshatts, would rather use someone who has a vague idea of what they are doing

Thanks

Steve.

May one ask what sort of problem do you have with the car?

It appears to be with the interior fan but it has affected the horn, brake lights and front fogs. I've checked the relays as per advice but they all appear OK. I have even changed the fuse box with no luck so I'm now in need of proper help!

Everything works if I bypass the fan fuse to the cigarette lighter (safest route if you can call it that) which suggests something between the fuse box and the power input but my knowledge of electrics is very limited. Incedentally I don't drive it at the mo unless absolutely necessary (thanks to the nice weather my new CBR has loads of miles on it now!).

If you have any advice or know of someone that can help it would be greatly appreciated, especially as the weather is a changing!

Thanks

Steve

Off the wall suggestion - but have you replaced a brake light bulb recently? If so, was it a dual filament or not?

Have seen this cause lots of weird problems...

I don't know that much about Subaru wiring, but I've done some bits and pieces to my MY96. (and rewired a couple of houses ) I'm based just across the water (IOW) so drop me an email if you would like a hand at some point.
