One will go to the lamda sensor, the other will probably be for illumination - wire to dash lights. which is which i don't know but I'm sure a phonecall to SM will clarify. I'd guess white would be switched lights but then again white with silver dots is the lamda wire....hmmm desicions...

I suppose you could check it this way before installing it:
connect red and black to the battery.
then touch the white wire to +ve on the battery, either the gauge will illuminate or the needle will move.
Disclaimer: the AFR measures between 0 and 1 volts but all the ones I know of use chips that run straight from the battery i.e. if you connect 13.8 V to the lamda input it shouldn't damage it so long as you've already connected the power leads to the battery - all it will do is say that its running rich. however I have no experience of the SM AFR, so if it blows up its your choice however if it were my gauge I'd do it
who manufactures it, do they have a website?

It's a bar type readout , not a guage.
Have wired white to readout and grn/yel earth. First red light is coming on but not giving a readout as such.

So it doesn't need backlighting then.
Remember, the lamda sensor takes a few mins to warm up, you won't get any readings till then.

Sorted.
Thanks for the help.
What readings should I be expecting.
Out for a run and car boosting to 1.2 bar holding a steady 1.1
AFR on first green light WOT.
This seems to be expected AFAIK after reading the Dawes threads.
Going to AWD in Perth tomorrow for SIDC day. Car will be checked on select monitor.
