Morette questions
#1
I have just fitted a set of Morettes to my MY02 and have a few questions.
1. Is there anywhere you can buy the rubber seals (like on the original bug eyes) as the black foam ones were damaged and looked naff.
2. The height adjustor does not work on the driver side. I will check the connections but if faulty is it easy to replace/fix ?
3. Bit of a lame one......having had them on at night I was surprised at the effect. The light beam projects from the car and seems to stop illuminating in a perfect straight line in front of the car !! Plus they seem to be very bright and illuminating of things on the left hand side..... Is this normal ?
Thanks
Scott

1. Yes u are right the foam that comes with them is poor .. I was very careful on install but would like to find a better seal.
2. I found that if u wind the beam angle down too far the adjuster stops working.. Try adjusting beam angle either up/down away from its physical stops.
3.Beam is very bright compared to bug eyes... more focused...100% BETTER ! ...

Scott,
I had problems on one side, and found that the plastic adjusting rod was catching on the car chassis slightly.
I had to replace one lens, which required a hacksaw to cut part of the adjustment rod off to ensure full movement..problem fixed!

You also find that some intallations (mine for one) has the wiring bunched around the mechanism so it would never work.
Checking how the wiring has been organisaed (zip tied, etc) before cutting things!
