Either in automatic or manual mode - on a MY98 Type R.

Connected the pump to 12v direct and it squirts water just fine.

Don't seem to be getting any voltage in the wiring - all fuses are ok.

Where is the most likely place that the wirings busted ??

If I need to, how do I remove switch block from dashboard... ?

Did you get it sorted? - I have a similar problem on my STi7, but only in auto mode - I'm beginning to wonder if its just not hot enough for it to trigger.

Does anyone know what temperature/boost levels trigger the spray?

Dont shoot me for this, but on the Jap STI7, they have an auto and manual setting for the water spray, however the UK only has Manual.

But I read somewhere on here that the water spray on the UK car is actually automatic (This I believe came from Mike Wood), and it appears to me that it is automatic, as its using water and I have intentionally not pressed the button jsut to see.

What is auto mode on the Jap Version do then?

Sorry for butting in a bit

When auto mode is off, it does nothing.

When on, it is triggered by boost and or temperature - I don't know the exact triggers though... anyone?
