Any know - I've got one on but as they have a great tendency to let water in mine has'nt worked for about 2 and a half years!

Just need the actual light itself - unless I can modify a Halfords Brake light?

Steve,

if its anything like mine then it is literally just a high level brake/spoiler light so try the halfords route (or a scrap yard!).

Steve,

warrenders / RC in barnton fit lots of those slim LED style lamps - they may be able to provide one/name supplier

alternatively put a red bulb in one of the rear clusters's reversing light - still passes MOT all right and does away with the clagged-on fog lamp at the same time (only drawback is people will keep helpfully telling you that you 'only have one reversing light working')

Yeah - it does look like a high level brake light

What bulbs are put in to make it fog light specific?

The other day I saw an old Suzuki Alto with a slim-ish foglight. It looked to be about 5cm high. I'm not sure if this is standard Suzuki fit in the Uk, although I can't see anyone importing one of these shopping trollys somehow.

The only reason the high level brake lights were used was two fold :-

1. it looks better than the square bolted on ones, and its better than cutting your bumper.
2. the reversing light bit whilst good enough for an mot test, wasn't good enough to pass an sva test. Can't remember the exact sva requirements tho.
