Default 1998 Legacy persistent airbag light snag

Guys,

Looking for some intel/suggestions on how to deal with an airbag warning light which my low mileage Legacy is fond of showing! Any ideas/suggestions/advice on how to re-set it would be gratefully received.

With best regards

Andy

You should have some yellow connectors under the front seats. Check they are all connected properly, preferably with the battery disconnected. Have you done anything to the steering wheel lately? There is a clock spring in there that is fairly easy to break once you've removed the steering wheel/airbag.
