Default Full Loom Strip

I am wanting to strip various elements of the Cabin/Engine Loom as in the new car I am not needing the supporting systems - purely track orientated so want to remove hardware and excess wiring for weight / space..

Systems I do not need are:
  • Airbag System
  • ABS System
  • Heater
  • Air-Con
  • Stereo
  • Security / Alarm / Immob
  • Power Windows
  • Door Locks / Solenoids
Of the above systems, do any of them (other than security) interface with the ECU in anyway? I basically wish to strip all of this out of the car, and wanted to check before starting that removal of the ABS for example would not have any impact on starting the car. i.e. does the ECU doesn't need to know its there. I know I will get a few lights on the dash, but will remove bulbs as required.

Presuming the best way to do this is chase back from the equipment back to the Fuse board? Any other tips? I don't have the ability to cut/test/cut/test as everything is out of the car. Its a 2001 Bugeye WRX non-DCCD if this helps.

Cheers

If the connectors are the same I’d take them.
