Hi Guys,

My 2005 STI alarm is going off randomly.

I do not know if it's linked but:

November 2018, I moved it a few meters, started fine, 3 weeks later not enough power to unlock with remote key.
New battery in, bought a solar charger that charges at 5W for long unused period.

Last friday I hear a car alarm on and on until I realize it's my car...
Tried to open, close lock again but it kept triggering.
It stopped with a press on the key fob and I felt it definitely stopped it. On Sunday I opened it to pickup something inside, at 10pm again the alarm trigerring non stop. Had to remove main battery.

Now I wonder if what caused the battery to go flat in November was not that...

I googled that the pb might come from a faulty switch from hood, boot or doors...

I will start inspecting that but I am not optimistic, hopefully someone here already had this and will be able to help me.
