hi has anyone got any advice about factory fitted alarm system on my Impreza 2.0 4wd turbo estate(station wagon) always been able to use the key fob, but recently it started playing up, I had to put the fob as close to the the number panel situated in glove box....override bit. I bought new battery's for fob but still fickle!
so then I had to keep entering code manually twice. 1 to lock doors &2 to light red light above steering columb so then the key could be put in to ignition and away we went! Until........last Friday I parked up and it wouldn't unlock with fob. And then the code panel in glove box will not except the code I have always used. I've spoken to lots of auto electricians locally and there all just scratching there heads and sayin, sorry mate can't help you.. surely there is away to either override or even remove it completely..PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP
