I need to repair some parts of the element in the rear windscreen demister. I've watched & read a few how-to's online so I've got the gist of it but it's a job I've never done before so want to check on here -

Quite a few repair product options - any experience of what is good or bad?

Any 1st-timer mistakes that I may make & how best to avoid them?

Prep the area well, any grease will compromise the repair.
