First off, are you sure it's aligned properly and, equally importantly, that whatever bulbs are fitted are seated properly?

The first is simple setup, easily done on a wall with the car standing about 8-10m away. Don't forget to do horizontal alignment as well as vertical, take a mate to stand in front of one light while you point the other, or drape a towel over one while adjusting the other.
The second is easy to get wrong and results in massive beam scatter for a very small misalignment of the bulb.

You don't say what's wrong with the dip? Not bright enough? Try uprated bulbs, NOT higher wattage, but something like this: http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/upg...adlight-bulbs/

If it's scatter, check the bulb fitment, replace cheap bulbs with decent branded ones, (Hella, Ring, Philips etc), and ensure that the lens and reflector are both spotless.

I would advise against fitting an aftermarket HID kit. Brighter? Usually...but also can have far more scatter and disappointing results, plus they tend to upset oncoming drivers.

no probs. Is the chrome nice and shiny in the laps as i thought mine was ok till i compared them with a new unit. Take a look at the difference between new and old unit' i tried them bulbs in old unit but they was better but still couldnt see at night. That why i bought mew 1's now i get people flash at me thinking im on main beam.

I don't what's going on now really! Lots of people saying original lights a crap, but they can't be worse than these you can't see where you going at all on dip. Original plugs aren't there so I'm going to struggle going back to standard with brighter bulbs without wireing diagram. 😡
