As above wire my defi gauges in with all sender units etc..

Light up do there sweep then won't read properly.

Red - live
Black - earth

Orange and white are switch live and For them to light up?, so I have linked them to the live as I have it on a switch?

There are four wires at the rear that need to be hard wired.

RED: PERMANENT live, live whether key is even in ign.
ORANGE: Switched live, live on IGN second click only, ie: when all warning lights on dash come on.
WHITE: lighting, should be live when sidelights are on.
BLACK: decent earth. Mine goes back to battery.

Now if the gauges light up and do their sweep, it would appear that your wiring is OK.

What about the senders? All plugged into the correct ports at the rear of the control box? All daisy chained correctly FROM control box and to each other?

Yep have


Oil pressure - front of the engine
Oil temp - rear of engine
water temp in top hose.


all plugged into the controller the one wire from controller to first gauge then small loop wires daisy changed from gauge to gauge?

That's how it should be. On the rear of the control box are two outelts, do you have the daisy chain wire to the first gauge in the correct one? It depends on what gauges....

The BF gauges go into output 2 while the standard white faced gauges go into output 1.
