Default Fault code 13

Hi I have no power to my spark plugs. The fault code comes up as 13. It means I have crank sensor working fine and it finds the camshaft sensor Can the camshaft pulley fail so it doesn't send a reading back to the camshaft sensor the wiring loom is fine and all connectors are good. This is the only fault code I have. Have I missed something very obviouse or could the cam wheel fail. The heads are off very early Ra 1992/1994 big valve heads Hope some one can help . Thanks

So are you saying you've fit a new camshaft sensor and still have the fault?
Have you reset the ECU after fitting th sensor as it may be a historic code.

Yes fitted new camshaft sensor. And it cleared the code and yes resetvthe ecu aswell the diagnostics says no fault. When I crank the car over it comes up with fault code 13 again. The old cam shaft sensor is in perfect working order so is the new one .

I've heard of the crankshaft pulley marks wearing to the point of not being picked up by the sensor but not the camshaft pulley, might be possible tho?
Have you had the timing belt cover off to check timing and made sure the belt hasn't slipped?

Using a genuine cam sensor? Have you also checked the wiring at the ECU?

Will be getting new sensor today from Subaru to see if that makes a difference and the wiring to the Ecu checks out fine. Thanks for your thoughts. Hopefully I can find the fault or the defective part ....?.
