Speedo/Odometer swap

Can the later style instrument panel be fitted to earlier model Impreza's, looking to see if a 97> dash would fit a 95 WRX import so it has digital reading miles ??? Is this possible

I'm not sure if this is feasible, the speedo in the early cars was cable fed, while the later ones where electronic. I supposed if your prepared to add an electronic sender to the dashboard, you could do it. All depends if your looking to fit just the later speedo, or update the entire dashboard. Fitting the entire dasboard would be a real challenge.
