Default Removal of rear fog lens from rear light on Blobeye

Has anyone removed the red rear fog lens from the right side rear light?

is it a simple mod or just easier to source a LHD rear light that doesn't have it?

looks to be a simple red lens that can be broken / removed from the cluster?

Seems like you may have to split the lense to remove it, similar to what people do with blob eye headlights. Maybe easier to buy a LHD one.

Rear light units are normally glued/bonded together so cannot be split like the headlamps that are just sealed. You will need to find a light unit from a left hand drive car from Europe etc as the fog light is on the other side, then use a red bulb/led to mimic the red lens. I've done it on my blob wagon.
