Has anyone fitted a Denso racing alternator..

My problem is i have a 2000 P1 with a 3 pin plug..and the new one has a 2 pin plug.

The wire colours are Blue, Yellow and a black one..

I need to know which wire is not used ?

Also which one is a switched live and which one is ignition light?

Any help would be great.
