Cluster? Instrument or lighting?

I thought the V4 UK instrument cluster was the same as the V4 STi cluster?

Instrument. When i turn on my blinker the fuel level starts going up and down with the sti one. And except from the lights nothing works.

That is odd. You sure the new one is off a V4? I know that the V5 one is different.

Yes bouth are 98 cars. But if you look at the back the print is going to other places. So i think there must be a difference in wiring. Also the sti is JDM.

On a 98 car, it would be JDM, they weren't officially imported until 2001.

Can you not trace the tracks, comparing one to the other?

I know but mine is LHD car so maybe there is a difference there. I will trace the tracks and adjuste the wiring. I think that could work.

Thanks

I figured it out and i wrote it all down, so if anyone wants to change there cluster here is how to do it. I'm not responsible if u mess up. I changed the wires of position and changed nothing on the cluster, except for removing the ABS and AIRBAG lights.

just follow this and you should be fine:

if u cant read this, i'm happy to send this to you in PM. Wires not mentioned should not be changed.
