Service/Repair kit for UK 2001 WRX turbo alternator
Can anyone point me to a source of bearings and brushes for this model?
Is it economical to replace bearings as opposed to buying a re-manufactured unit.
I'm in Taunton, Somerset, and the bearings have been a little noisy for the last couple of weeks.
Will look at alternator make/number and re-post if necessary.
Thanks for looking

I had mine done while with Harvey for a new crank pulley...the old one had come to bits.
Total was £25 to remove, strip, remove bearings, press in new and refit.
I'd suggest that if you know what you are doing, strip it and remove bearings, then take them to a decent bearing place, (www.yell.com), and buy new.
