alternator flipped bracket
Hi guys.
After a decent alternator bracket that allows to flip the alternator to rotate the manifold

Get an AS performance one, proper solution! Not some cobbled together lumps of steel.

But designed for the smaller alternator tho ain't it and the worst part it's over £100

No its not it can be used on either, I have one of Carl Daveys origional brackets sitting in the back of the garage but without the spacers and the the adjustment bar cheap if your intrested.

No the ASP bracket is not designed for the small alternators, it was Carl Davey's first alternator bracket that was designed for the small Denso Alternators, I know I had one. The ASP one was designed to fit classic and Newage OEM alternators and does so perfectly. There is a reason the cheap ones are cheap!
Pic below of the ASP kit and one of it fitted with a standard alternator on my car.

Lol well said, you cannot modify properly on the cheap it doesn't work, you will end up doing things twice and ultimately spend more.

That is an exact copy of Carl Davey's second bracket which was designed as an adjustable one to fit the small Denso Alternator and the larger OEM one. Carl's one was prone to flex and caused rubbing issues with the belt I cant see this one being any different so as said previously cut corners pay twice.
