Lightbulb drivers window dont open

Hi guys i have a 2007 spec d and the drivers window switch has stopped working. It has worked intermitantly for a while but i ignored it. Now switch wont move window at all. Is this a common fault?

Any ideas?

Got same on my classic passenger door...less of a problem.
Tried a new switch/known working one?

Hi Alcazar. Of all the windows to go it has to be the drivers. Got it in garage today. Ive a feeling its the switch. Hope so as motor more expensive. Had my old sti v5 classic 9 years and no issues with electrics. Had the new age 1 year, lets hope its a one off fault. Plus got the airbag recall to do too!

In fairness, that switch gets the most use. Let us know what you find. On earlier cars, you could take the whole unit apart and swap out one switch. Don't think you can on later cars
