I'm in the process of modding a pair of crystal headlamps to paint the outer reflector black. I obviously need a pair of crystal black side lights but all the ones I see listed on ebay are all black, rather than having black around the outsides like the headlamps will.

Are there any suppliers of what Im after?

Are the headlights oe Subaru items painted black or aftermarket?

 

Mine were OE Subaru lights, split and painted black

 

Out of interest what paint did you use? I'm thinking 2k black gloss as I have some already. I'm wondering of long term effects on normal rattle can paint with the heat etc.

 

Rattle can satin black I used. Had no issues with the paint at all! Make sure to use plastic primer 1st
