Alarm goes off if locked too soon
If I lock the car (with the remote) before the interior light goes out the alarm goes off (fair enough as it must be seeing it as a voltage change). I have to wait about 15 seconds just standing there bent over next to my car looking at the light before I can lock it. Its not cool.
I've tried turning the light to the Off position but although this turns the light off, the light on the dash that shows the doors are open stays on and the alarm still goes of when locking it.
I've got a classic with the Sigma M30 alarm (I believe).
Surely this isn't how its meant to be - is my alarm/car behaving how it should?
One thought is, is there a way to delay the alarm kicking in so if I lock it the doors lock but the alarm waits to arm for longer than I takes the light to go out?

I would assume its a issue with as you say the light on the dash
indicating the doors are still open that is your problem.
Have you checked the switches in the door to see if they are
all working and not jammed, could also be the wiring to said
switches is faulty.

cheers Raptorman. Maybe I could have have written it clearer before, the dash light works fine as long as the interior light is switched to work when the doors are open.
The door switches seem to be working fine, its just the delay in the light going out causing the issue
