Headlight washers
I peps I know this has been covered a few times before but does anybody know how they work at all as I tried with the wipers on and off and with the lights on and off in different combos and all I get is a clicking sound when I push the button and help would be great full cheers in advance

SOME idea of the car, model, and year would help us?
It's probably the pump. It doesn't get much use, so it jams/seizes.
You could try removing it, cleaning it and back-flushing?
And while it's out, check it's getting a supply...circuit tester or multimeter.

No water usually means pump is seized or dead
If you are lucky remove pump and try to rotate impeller...............
