Does anybody know where I can get a set of rims bead blasted and powder coated. I say powder coated because I think it might be a more even finish than paint, and hopefully less prone to chipping afterwards. Does anybody have any experience on this matter or indeed any advice or opinions on what I'm for doing ? I find any wheel that you paint is as bad as even three months later with any sort of driving at all. Is powder coating likely to be any different ?
All help appreciated !

There is Lester Engineering, Moira Rd, Maze (028 92 621681). I know they refurbish alloys but I don't know if they do power coating. I've never used them myself but it may be worth giving them a call and see what they say.

Lester just paint finish, They do an OK job, but can sometimes be very expensive. Pity there isnt anywhere here that actually can do a good job with that sort of thing.
There is a place in mallusk, in michelin somehwere that does powder coating, not sure of the name or exactly what sort of work they do. A couple of friends had bike frames and bike wheels done there. Might be worth a try. I'll try and get a contact number
