Just so happens that the software upgrade has coincided with the hosts suspending access to the site AGAIN. I presume this is due to the site going over bandwidth - I say presume because 1) the hosts didn't contact me to tell me it was over bandwidth, and 2) They still haven't contacted me to tell me it's offline. I just discovered it myself.
Anyway, needless to say, hosts are being changed. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about it right now but it will be sorted this evening. It may take up to 24 hours to get it back to full working order though.

P.S. I took a backup two nights ago so some posts will be lost but it shouldn't cause too much trouble.

The main users of SI have agreed they would pay a subscription fee so I dont believe there is any point in always saying "at his own costs" as its his choice to pay.

Have to disagree Pete, with a single owner, running the site as he sees fit, and using his selection of "staff"....its a website based forum...anything undertaken under the SI banner is at the disgression of the owner.....
He chooses to provide the website, and its his choice as to whether fees are applied, this would make it into a club as such, something that can cause its own host of problems....
If someone wishes to run/attend an event under the site name, they do so off their own back/initiative, and the website users can attend if they choose to do so.....
If it was a club, paying or non paying, there would have to be a committee for EVERYTHING, and nothing would get done. People would argue over their "rights", some wouldnt pay as they dont attend events, some would say that they have paid and as such demand a bigger say in the sites running.....money would also become an issue, and nothing IMHO splits people like financial issues
I enjoy the site for what it is, a web based forum, where I can meet, talk to and arrange events for like minded people....nothing more, nothing less

Sorry guys, didn't mean to cause an
uproar, just got a bit worried when I saw
the"website bill not paid" when I clicked
my browser link
Glad to hear improved service will be
resumed shortly.
Thanks for all the responses
