Mate I can recommend a HKS downpipe,I had one on a MY96 WRX with full decat and Magnex back box and it sounded awesome ,nice deep flat four rumble. You will also notice a power increase think its around 20-30 BHP,and with the full decat driven right you will also get flames

Any HKS front pipe I have seen were not the bellmouth type. Therefore other than de-cating they have no spoolup advantage. Im happy to be proven wrong though!
The pipes I sell are the Hayward and Scott bellmouth type, handmade and a work of art.. £195 inc vat and in stock.

What are your opinions on the magnex downpipe? i have a magnex decat centre section. I've had magnex systems before without problems. The centre section is no different. Gave a little bit more groan than the catted original which is always good. The magnex downpipe isn't badly priced. Was thinking about fitting one and come MoT time just changing the centre section with my old catted one instead of messing around with an awkard downpipe. One on and off would be enough!

Any opinions.

I have a hayward and scott open-mouth downpipe mated to a blitz nur-spec system and its very loud.
The downpipe made a hell of a difference to the spool up of the turbo too!! Mines was £220 delivered last march so if Scubbay is doin them for £195 VAT and all it thats well worth the money!!

Default Removing second cat

I'm thinking of replacing the second cat and leaving the original down pipe in place in my 01 Bugeye. Can you just fit the lambada sensor into the replacement pipe without requiring any remapping?

as far as I am aware m8, u have 2 options.

1. get ur engine management light turned off so the car doesnt stay in limp mode.

2. get a remap and see the benefits from removin the cat.

but i am not an expert

Paul (Scubbay) also gets my vote for probably the most "in the know" when it comes to getting the right parts ordered in and for the routine maintenance fo these cars......always more than helpful with advice and not just looking to sell the most expensive products either....well done !
