"Extensive Park and Ride facilities are being provided at the impressive new IKEA store, which is opening on the 13th December, and the Holywood Exchange development which are located off the A2 Belfast Road near Tillysburn. The regular and free Translink bus service will operate to and from Stormont throughout the evening with services commencing at 16:45 until 22:00. The Rally Ireland Park and Ride facility will be well signposted by AA Signs around the Belfast Metropolitan Area."

Jonny,

does that mean you have the keys to the back door? Save us spending our hard earned dollars on tickets?

Went to the millenium hillclimb event at Stormont, was underwhelmed, think I will give the stormont stage a miss, hopefully catch some action around enniskillen, and the border counties.

You could park and walk or park and taxi... I'm pretty sure there will be cones put along the side streets off the upper Newtownards Road, to keep them clear, but you could park a bit further out and walk to Stormont or get a taxi from where you parked your motor.

Was round that way today - could drop in to the stormont for a coffee before the event and leave your motor there - just a dander over the road. There is a car park by the bank at Hawthornden Road which is a short walk from the main gates at Stormont too.

you can park cars on the comber road, turn right at the elk in (just before the hospital) Its probably a 10 min walk max.

Just watch the high curbs (they are resurfacing)

Ikea has security at it due to the building work so hopefully they will keep an eye on the cars, I wonder if they will let us use their new multi storey car park ?
