Default Dangerous driving & the consequences

I am sure most of us on occasions have exceeded the odd speed limit in the pursuit of a 'spirited drive' along our favourite B road.

Have a look at the posts by '10 Pence Short' (starts five posts down) in this thread on Piston Heads, read on to page 12 where he posts the victims Personal Statement.

Very sobering and thought provoking...

Good link, definitely worth a few minutes of your time....anyone driving a high performance car on public roads will know its easy to get carried away in the heat of the moment!

There is also a curious satisfaction of driving Subaru slowly....you get some odd looks from souped up Corsa's and the like..

I try to save my need for speed for the odd track day..

seems like it was straight from a book to educate people of the dangers of driving by telling a very touching story. Does however have the desired effect weather true or not tbh. The english and grammer are so good it looks like a copy paste job.

true true it does have good grammer but even if it isn t true,
it just reminds u of wot could happen, and does happen to some people.

if we re all honest we have at some point from passing our tests have had a moment in the car ( not very many in my case thank god ) that we could have caused an accident, maybe not the worst accident in the world,
but 1 were u hadn t been paying enough attention, or going to quickly and u would have been at fault

i like b roads as im sure many of u s do to but u really have to bare in mind there is a time and place to enjoy.....

reading that does make u stop and think, i wouldn t fancy prison for 30 secs of fun !!!!!!!!!
