Attempted theft of my car
Was up late last night playing Halo3 went to bed about 2am
About 15 min later I heard a deep exhaust pass my house turn and then pull up out side.
I looked out of my bed room window to see a guy about 20 ish get out and head straight to the drivers door of my car with a screwdriver in his hand
I roared out the window for him to " get the f**k away from my car" he legged it jumped back into the car and took off.
The car was a black old type Nissan skyline never seen any reg but the petrol cap was missing.
The thieving Bas***d was approx 20ish blonde hair wearing a grey hoodie.
I texted mark to warn him and he phoned me back when I mentioned the black liner he told my a mate of ours soupy here in Antrim had his liner stolen 3 days ago.
The local cops arrived about 15min later
I gave them all the details and they were able to get the reg once I had mentioned the liner being stolen in town 3 days ago.
So folks be on the look out for a black english reg liner with no petrol cap.
Thankfully I had a close call id hate to think what could have happened had I been in bed early and fast asleep by 2am

Nice save Rob..........could have turned out much worse if he swung you the bird and continued to steal your car after you yelled at him!
Hopefully they catch these people before someone else loses their pride and joy.

*******s just need tied up and beaten until their eyes pop out.
You should never try and approach them though, screwdriver could become a stabbing weapon very quickly guys.
Rather get the car stolen than end up badly injured, unless u have a gun

this seems to be getting a problem. i know that it has always been there, but could the recent publicity that scoobynet and subarus are getting due to convoys etc a factor?

Cops dont really give a f**k IMHO.Their still driving around in stolen car cause they know the chances of being caught are so slim and if they are what will happen them, what gets me is a 'joyrider' gets caught he gets banned from driving doubtful if he has a licence in the first place. The c*nts should be banged up.
Anyone should be aware of cars follwing you home, just keep an eye out.

Guys always think about it b4 you tackle these guys...
I recently had a car stolen from the Boucher Road in Belfast, I actually saw them getting into it from the shop I was in, I ran out but was in time to see the car going through the gates...I was really pissed of I didn't see them sooner....
2 days later the car turns up crashed into a wall on a wee street beside the falls road, in the passenger footwell there was a screwdriver..presumably for breaking into the car...and also a 7" breadknife....only purpose could have been for me if I had interupted them..
These guys would give a second thought to sticking a knife in you, now if I see anyone at my car I call the cops, I wouldnt mind taking any of these guys on with fists, but they have knives, it just isnt worth it
Look at all those guys killed in England recently tackling thugs in the street.....
