Default head gasket

scoob has started to leak oil and drink water like a fish! im guessing the head gasket is on way out!

does anyone know of gasket suppliers and what sort of cost im looking for it? i see them on ebay, but am wary to go for that option!

check and see if its pressurerising the water system, if the heaters not working in the car, if the oils creamy on the dipstick, steam from your pipe and if you own a wideband stick it in the expansion tank

Use only OE gaskets.....although dont think any of the normal aftermarket places do them anyway, so its Subaru only, unless you switch to Cometic, which is pointless, when OE gaskets work fine.

Depends what year/model on gasket price, as there are different thickness's for different years, but they arent that cheap.

Some are about £120 a pair, although others are cheaper.

i can programme the laser cutter and do our own aswell, it helped wen i couldnt afford pistons for other turbo conversions.

ive had many non-original gaskets on in the past.
