Omg i ordered the ppp for my import wrx and

A.Subaru wont issue a cert with the kit because the car is an import.

B. Not suprising they will of course take my money for a service.

C. believe it or not its not clear weather my warranty will be void if i get it fitted as its an import.

Looks like subaru are losing too much money on imports and are not likin it one bit. Well they wont worry to much about that when the 2008 model arrives.

Who did you get the car from in the first place?

Are you saying they'll still sell the PPP kit to you, but not issue a certificate?

Servicing - it's the dealer who quite happily takes your money, not subaru though

Yes, I'd say your warranty is dodgy if you somehow manage to fit a PPP.
Its international motors(Subaru UK) who warranty the cars, not the factory as such.
The import cars come with pan european warranty, but they forbid the PPP fitting.

yeah mate donnelly will sell me the ppp but as you say its a pan-european warranty which does not allow ppp although the cyprian exporter of this vehicle has said that even if the uk wrx bought from a dealer has a warranty issue regarding the ppp installation or failure of the kit its prodrive that picks up the tab but no clairity on import ppp failure.

Yea they will not issue the cert but will fit the ppp kit ok.

If dodgy donnelly's will sell you the PPP, then they're up to something I think.

As far as I was aware, Subaru UK would not supply the PPP for imports.
They're probably supplying a different chassis number from a UK supplied car?

Did they supply the car too?

donnelys would sell their grannys so no surprise there.but you can't really blame them in general as the warrenty issue would be the same in any subaru dealer.if you have'nt paid a deposit i'd cancel it and go the andy forrest or similar route, might as well get more bhp for your money if your warrenty is screwed anyway.

Bushi, my advice, either go the wheels and styling route you were thinking about, or if you can risk the warranty get the Andy Forrest route sorted, better spec than PPP too from what I've heard...decisions decisions LOL
