Default Bathroom Refurb

Hi,

Originally posted this in DIY, but it might be better in here instead.

I'm in the process of trying to get the bathroom completly refurbished.

Right, I've bought all the stuff, toilet sink, shower etc.

Got a recommendation of a guy to do the work, and got a quote.

He will rip out the existing bathroom including wall & floor tiles.
He will move the toilet & sink to a different location in the bathroom.
He will fit the shower - no bath going back in.
He will supply & fit a PVC ceiling and supply & fit insert lights into the ceiling.
The powershower will need electrics for the pump
He will supply & fit an extractor fan - despite me saying I don't need one
The floor will have plywood installed for tiling.
The walls will be prepped for tiling
Existing radiator is being replaced with a towel rail
Room size is a mere 1980mm by 1920mm
Don't know wall height - standard size if such a term exists
Skip hire is included.

He is not doing the tiling, I'll be getting someone else for that.
And remember that I'm supplying all the bits bar the ceiling/light/extractor fan.

His quote is wait for it.....................................£2460 plus VAT!

I can't help think that this is somewhat overpriced.

Any view?

Thanks,

Shaun
