Default Rear struts!

I have aproblem with the rear struts chattering. Only this time the car isn't under warranty and my head is seriously wrecked.

Can anyone advise me of a good brand of aftermarkets that are going to last?

I have tried greasing the struts and that worked for a few weeks but it is back and it is driving me to distraction.

Any help or advice on where to get this sorted would be very much appreciated.

godspeed or someone do an exchange, they have developed a fix for the rear struts, and you can exchange your old units, plus some cash for them.

Mine are away as well. was going to go donw this route, or was going to write to subaru and tell them my friends with evos dont have this problem and try and blag a replacement under warranty

I have heard that KYB do replacements and to the best of my knowledge they make the subaru ones. Wonder can anyone confirm that??

The knock is driving me insane. I cannot stick it much longer. Gonna get some rear struts sorted. The guys at subaru described it as chattering and that really is what it is. Low speed annoying chattering.

Will have to get onto the ISDC site.

Stevie try Motoglass on the Boucher Road, the KYB shocks that I got originally were supplied by them ( found their receipt under the tape)and then sent to a local accessories shop,so I reckon they might be cheaper than most other suppliers.

Were they difficult to fit? Do you know if you need to set up geometry etc once fitted?

Cheers

Geometry shouldn't need setting up as its only a straight swap.
It took about 4 hours altogether but I get sidetracked very easily
