Locked Thread!! ATO NAF
#1
As moderator you are entitled to delete a thread or post if you feel it's libellous . But I am very annoyed about the way you did it. Instead of deleting the offending post you locked the thread. Now when some people (80 odds at the last count) open the thread by David L and see your note they will assume that I wrote something libellous about the ISDC, I didn't write anything libellous and I believe you closed the thread because of a reply that was posted on my thread. Please reword your statement on the locked thread immediately so people know I didn't write anything libellous.
In your effort to protect the "good name" of the ISDC you have slurred my name.
Also I think most people would like to know who told you to take a look at the thread in the first place????
Annoyed David L

Ummm - call me stoopid, but wouldn't it be better to edit the libelous post. I read the thread yesterday, and while David's comments where slightly ambiguous (having a go at ISDC or merely raining a point of information) I can't remember anything contentious or libelous. I'm assuming now that someone has added a further post which has been deleted. Really have to agree with David about the inference

Fair enough David
I do see your point
I have deleted the thread accordingly
I must say though I did not lock the thread to protect the "good name" of the ISDC
I locked it to protect Scoobynet from possible legal action
As I said in the post Scoobynet has had some trouble in the past due to posts of this nature
