I now have the letter from VRO giving me my Irish number plates. What size plates are available, and where is the best place to get them in or around Dublin. What I'd really like for the front of the car is something the size of a bike rear plate (ie; square, not oblong).....but I assume that is going to be a problem here?

Can I get a sticker style one for the front?

Get the sticker type and put in on the lower lip of the bumper,cause you wouldnt want to deprive air getting to your FMC would you.

Is the sticker type legal in Dublin though? I've only ever seen oblong plates (metal or plastic) so far.

Anything not legal they frown upon over here, log onto www.isdc.ie and ask the lads there.
