Scooby Meet - Sunday 26th February @ Sprucefield (updated time)
As the title says, a Scooby Meet in Northern Ireland.
Date - Sunday 26th February
Time - 12:30 (negotiable)
Location - Sprucefield
Sprucefield carpark at the side of the car park where mcdonalds is as it is generally empty.
Anyone who needs directions, I did a test on the aa website there, and it seemed to give good directions to sprucefield from most places. Just tyoe in Sprucefield, it brings up only one option.
Look forward to meeting you all and putting faces to names
Any one who is attending please post

i put a post up on another forum about the meet and its been raised that there will be shoppers in the car parks at this time, im not too sure on the area but is there any of the car park that would be empty at this time?
also other issues raised are the fact that theres alot of shows/events on this date which may effect turn out slightly but not entirely...french car meet at antrim lough, coupes meet in portrush, paris tuning show, dublin sportscar show!
if left to the week after or week before we could get more website coverage from other ni/southern sites and more of a turn out possibly??? thought on this??

no we should stick to the agreed time/location i think
id be inclined to keep the date the same to really...was just a suggestion about other meets which are on the same day but french car meet/coupe meets shouldnt really affect ours!

The dublin show has been cancelled, and I aint intending on going to a french car meet and i have no money left to go to anymore international trips.
I say keep it as the 26th Feb, and the side of the car park where mcdonalds is is generally empty. Do you want to bring the time forward to 12:30 so we get in before the shops open at 1pm? This would ensure us a clear run at the car park before the usual shoppers arrive. ??????

N1 from Dundalk to Newry once in the north this would be the A1,once you get to Newry head towards Banbridge/Hillsbourgh this road will bring you right upto the Sprucefield roundabout and then if its in McDonalds car park (which will be on your right hand side as you approach the roundabout) just follow round heading towards Marks and Spencers and you will be there.
Or I myself would be more than willing to meet you's in Newry so you can follow me up(if you can keep up!!!)

dont be tempted to plant it on the A1 - seems to be a favoured hang out for traffic branch these days.

Car park over where Currys/Sainsburys/B&Q might be better - far less busy - one roundabout closer to the A1. The sprucefield one on a sunday afternoon is hectic - even around it the traffic is a disaster, don't want anyone loosing a wingmirror or worse with sunday shoppers not looking where they are going.
