Now that the forum is actually alive I thought it mind be a good idea for everyone to post the type of car they drive and the mods.. So anybody looking for advice can talk to someone who drives the same model...

Hi Roy,
Did you notice much of a difference with the dynomat? i used some in my boot to deaden the exhaust sound but it didn'y make much difference.

Mac's:
I had put the dynamat in before the exhaust was put on, so it was still gonna be louder. The panels on the Subaru are very thin, so it does stop panel vibration.
It is definatley quieter inside the car though. Downside is dynamat adds a lot of weight, which slows ya down

Mshalvey, welcome to the board. How come it took you over 3 weeks to post after registering. Did you manage to get to the ISDC meeting on Sunday, it turned out to be a very good day. Jeeez, Macs Power certainly has the gift of the gab, he was going to give a talk about the club for five minutes but ended up nearly an hour.

Again welcome to the board.

Cheers

Alan

P.S. what part of Dublin are you in.

Red MY99, with not much in the way of mods -

17" Gold Speedline Superturismo's
ScoobySport backbox
Colour coded side skirts and mirrors
Clear front & side indicators
Momo gear ****

... and am looking to get a Prodrive rear spoiler and fog lamp covers. If anyone has said rear spoiler, I would appreciate knowing which dealer you got it through and how much they stung you for it.

Hiya Scruff.
Sorry I missed the last meet but I was out of the country. Hope to meet you all at the next one though. Look... it only took me just over a week to answer you this time, not three weeks so I guess I'm improving with posting messages

Cheers

Mark.

Mshalvey, WOW a 300% improvement

Don't mind me I am only taking the pi55. By the way, when you get your AP brake conversion what are you doing with the original 4 pots. If you have not sold them and they will fit mine I would like first refusal. I will e-mail you my mobile number and maybe you could give me a buzz.

Cheers

Alan

P.S. Im on the northside also(Drumcondra).
