I hit a pothole today and burst the sidewall on one of my GY F1's just as it was bedding in ( 800 miles ) . Rim ok . Thank goodness for compomotive alloys . This is the 2nd tyre I've burst in the same pothole . The pothole is on the inside of a sharp bend and instead of putting tar in it they filled it with stones which of course ended up scattered all across the corner and none in the hole .
This is an appropriate joke -
What's the difference between an Irish road and a packet of **** ?
Theres more tar in the packet of **** .

I say drive in the center of the road like everyone else and get the other 50% of your moneys worth. This way you can swerve violently to avoid potholes, other road users etc.......................

So that is why Waterford drivers drive in the middle .
I had an english cousin visiting and he observed that there are 3 lanes on Irish roads - left , right and the middle lane marked by a dotted line which is used by whoever gets there first or is driving a lorry .

It's common knowledge that the broken line is for driving along. Look at your driving licence.

It says "tear along dotted line"

Turbo7379, not sure about this but since the pothole was filled once doesn't this mean you can claim for damages off the Roads Service? (Since they knew about it but didn't fix it in time)
